The visuals were more than worth price of admission and are just some of the coolest things I've ever seen, but Dances with Wolves has already been made. And why did no one say "Unobtainium, really??" to James Cameron? "If they get to the Tree of Souls, it's over!" It's not that it was bad. I just do not feel anything for the characters other than the marine dude. But just disliking a stubborn bad guy doesn't make a story. Someone falling in love doesn't make a story. Someone doing the opposite of what they're supposed to do does not make a story. Execution makes a story. That's why Wizard of Oz is amazing. Not because it goes from black and white to color.
